FAHRENHEIT88, Bukit Bintang transforms into traditional village

FAHRENHEIT88 invites shoppers to embark on a Sout Korean adventure until Sept 30.

The shopping spot in Bukit Bintang is transformed into a bustling South Korean village where visitors can find food and beauty bazaar, travel packages, watch cultural performances and take part in exciting contests.

Upon entering the mall, strings of colourful lanterns glistening under the natural skylight dome greet shoppers with a charming ambience.

At the Ground Floor Atrium, shoppers will be treated to a series of authentic South Korean cultural performances such as Bucheachum, also known as a Fan Dance, where the performers wear bright coloured hanboks while displaying their dance with pink peony blossom fans.

Other performances include Jindo BukChum, a unique drum and dance performance with the performer in traditional rural dress beating a big round drum, and Samul Nori, a Korean percussive performance with four instruments.

Following the huge success of BigBang Galaxy World Tour Concert Ticket launch at fahrenheit88, , the mall, which was also host to the recent tvN K-Pop Star Hunt Season 2 Malaysian Audition, continues to promote K-Pop by entertaining its shoppers with a series of K-Pop dance performances by students of the Korea Traditional Music Association.
