MCA ‘Glam Girls’ Photos: I Will Not Apologize to PKR Youth, Says Wee

KUALA LUMPUR, 14 OCTOBER, 2011: MCA Youth chief Wee Ka Siong said he will not apologize to PKR Youth for blaming the movement and its information chief for fuelling speculation that led to the slander and posting of indecent photos, allegedly of the female models who graced the Youth wing's recently-concluded AGM, reported Malaysiakini.

“What I said was that Suara Keadilan Malaysia at Wordpress posted the comments and photos,” clarified Wee, denying that he was attacking PKR Youth or its chief.

He said that he simply stated the address of the site.

He further explained that what he said on Wednesday was that the speculations and criticisms that culminated in the inappropriate photos started after PKR Youth information chief Lee Khai Loon made comments about the incident.

If they are innocent in the matter, Wee said, then PKR Youth should join him in criticizing those behind the site and lodge a report with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to find the real culprits.

He maintained that he still was firm in his criticism of Lee and PKR Youth for starting their accusations that the MCA made use of the petty models for political gain.

The Ayer Hitam MP said Lee had, on his Twitter account, made comments in Chinese that roughly translated into “consume” or “use” the girls.

“He said that we use the girls. How can we use the girls? They are not products. They are someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, someone’s wife,” Wee hit out.
