During the hour-long visit, Tuanku Fauziah also made a personal contribution to the late cameraman’s family.
Noramfaizul’s mother Naemah Abd Majid, 63, said she was touched by the visit of the Raja Perempuan who showed much compassion about the tragedy that befell her only son.
“The Raja Perempuan said she hoped our family will remain strong and patient in this difficult time. We accept this as the will of Allah. We love him, but Allah loves our son more,” she said.
“I am also very grateful for all the care and assistance from the government. Our late son’s sacrifice for Allah and the country was so sincere that his loss has been acknowledged,” she told reporters after Tuanku Fauziah’s visit to her home in Serdang near here.
