Hantu Bonceng Creates History Of RM5mil In 5 Days!


Hantu Bonceng, 23rd movie created by famous director, Ahmad Idham Ahmad Nadzri, created history of largest ticket sales during festive seasons with a total of RM5 million in five days of showing with an average sales collection of RM1 million for everyday of the showing.



The movie which features Zizan Razak, Juliana Evans, Jue Aziz, Dottie, Tai and Zahid AF started showing last August 31 in 80 cinemas simultaneously all over the country, Singapore and Brunei.

“I also urge everyone who has not yet watch or has watched Hantu Bonceng, to go to the cinema with friends and families this Aidilfitri, to watch the movie.

“Hantu Bonceng is a light comedy which has a message and is capable of strengthening relationships among friends and families,” Ahmad Idham said through a media statement Mynewshub.my received through an email today.

In relation to that, the company responsible for producing the movie, Excellent Pictures, and Ahmad Idham, expressed their gratitude for everyone’s support in creating a local movie history.

The gratitude is also specially dedicated to all fans and viewers who constantly give support by watching Hantu Bonceng in cinema which helps the production reach a total sales collection worth RM5 million, where it is estimated over 500,000 viewers have watched the movie in cinema.

Aside from thanking the medias who have helped promote the Hantu Bonceng movie, the production team also expressed their appreciation to all the actors who gave full commitment throughout the film making.

“Besides that, again, I would like to say a million of thanks to all viewers and fans, and hope that the support received will continue to ensure that “Hantu Bonceng” is capable of creating another local movie history, and we will be proud with our own product,” he added.

Hantu Bonceng is still ‘riding’ high in 80 cinemas in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, with most cinemas filled with viewers who want tickets.

To avoid any complications to obtain tickets, fans and viewers are advised to make early bookings, either through the counter or the chosen cinema internet application.
