News that the much-loved Taiwanese singer and TV host had passed away from lung cancer on Jan 3 was only revealed by her lawyer on Feb 13. The 60-year-old singer did not want her death to be made public until after the Chinese New Year holidays.
The 48-year-old singer, actress and model, a household name in the 1980s and early 90s, was found dead in her guest room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills of causes not immediately known.
